At Crystal Palace by Simon, we are a small family-run business started in 2015 by a different name Simon's All Natural Soap that specializes in handmade soaps, lotions, oils, and more. We carry a wide array of jewelry, crystals, and gemstones. Family-owned and Operated since 2015!

We have positions available at both our Valencia and Sherman Oaks locations!

Please note this listing is for the part-time sales associate position. The pay is between $16-$17 per hour based on knowledge and skill set. We are looking for someone who has great people and communication skills and can provide excellent customer service by being attentive and personable. You also must be comfortable working alone.

Key Holder/Sales Associate
Sales Associate Requirements:

• A high school diploma.

• Retail sales or customer interaction experience.

• The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.

• Basic knowledge of Apple software or computer skills.

Sales Associate Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, helping them locate items, and providing outstanding customer service.

• Maintaining the presentation of the store, products, signage, and displays. Cleaning and sweeping store workstation, countertops, glass, shelving, etc…

• To fulfill the scheduled work hours as agreed upon during store hours.

• Operating cash registers and managing financial transactions.

• Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.

• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.

• Increasing in-store sales by cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.

Ex: a customer comes in looking for an obsidian stone you point them in the direction of the obsidian but also show them the black tourmaline, and hematite stones b/c you know they are also good for deflecting negativity

• Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transport.

• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

• Any other requirements deemed to be necessary by the Owner/Manager.

Salary: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 – 34 per week
